Rice Cooker Chocolate Cake

Have you ever tried making a cake in a rice cooker before? hahaha 😀 Mel and I loves baking, but sometimes it can be time-consuming. With few assignments that have to be submitted every week and exam coming in a month time, making a cake in rice cooker can really save your time 😉

So, here you go, chocolate cake in a rice cooker recipe:

Dry ingredients:

1 1/2 cup Flour (we used self-raising flour)

1/2 cup sugar (the cake wasn’t very sweet, so you can add few more spoons of sugar if you like)

4 tbsp of cocoa powder

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp cinnamon powder

1/4 tsp baking powder

Other ingredients:

90 ml sunflower oil

1 cup water

1/2 tsp vanilla essence

This recipe is very simple because most of the ingredients might be in your kitchen now and it is very easy to make:

1.Mix the dry ingredients together
2.Mix the other ingredients
3.Mix both mixtures in one bowl
4.Put in rice cooker and wait for about 45-60 minutes
5.After 45 minutes, check if the cake is done. If yes, then let it cool down for 15 minutes
6.Ready to eat 🙂
Give it a try! Till next time!
